Hi!
Welcome to Positive Attitudes Working (PAW) Preschool! We would like to thank you for choosing Positive Attitudes Working Daycare and would like to ensure you that we have a commitment to the parents and to the children enrolled in the Center. Our commitment is that the children will receive QUALITY and loving care. We will also build-up the children’s self-confidence and self-esteem with praise and positive redirection.
It is our goal to provide a variety of exciting, stimulating activities each day so that your child can develop socially, emotionally, physically and mentally to the very best of his/her ability.
The purpose of Positive Attitudes Working is to offer childcare services and educational programs and to help maintain family life by providing quality care for children while parents are working or attending school.
As we bridge the gap from home to child care center, we guide the children to a “Positive” self-image while building social skills in a group setting. We treat each child as an individual, working from the level each child has attained and moving forward one step at a time.
Our experienced qualified staff offers a caring and “Positive” environment in which your child can learn, be loved, and feel secure.
We look forward to meeting you. Thank you!

Positive Attitudes Working (PAW)
My name is Elizabeth Brown and working with children has always been a dream. I been in the childcare field for about 13 plus years. This includes working with families in the Chicago area and doing babysitting services. I work with children because I want to make a difference in a child’s life. They are passionate, loving, and full of life.
Hello, my name is Nicole Thomas and I am a teacher at Positive Attitudes Working Daycare and Preschool. I have been working with children for over 5 years and I must say that I have gained a lot of knowledge and have grown in so many ways since I first started. Why do I do what I do? I believe that every child deserves a fair chance at life. Every child deserves
someone who can educate them but be a positive role model in their lives as well. My goal is to give back and make a difference all at the same time.
I work at PAW for two reasons:
Testimonial from former employee Violet Whiteside: I provided daily care for God’s greatest gifts (children), at Positive Attitude Working Daycare. I had been with this organization for many years. I enjoy what I did because not only did I get to impact the lives of their future, but I get an opportunity to change the parent’s perspective on child care! I understood that these parents are entrusting me with their most prized possessions and as a mother of three, I didn’t take this responsibility lightly. I understand the day to day struggles of being a working parent in today’s world and the importance of having a trusted support system. It truly takes a village to raise a healthy child and I am honored to have been a part of the village. Frederick Douglas stated, “It is easier to build
strong children than to repair broken men” and I totally agree! It was not only my job but my heart’s desire to build strong children with a positive attitude in a world filled with negativity
